Object Care Guide

Every handmade piece carries the artisan's devotion; proper care lets it stay with you longer.

Thangka

  • Avoid direct sunlight and damp environments
  • Gently wipe dust off with a soft dry cloth
  • When rolling up, face the painting outward; do not fold or press
  • Framing and hanging for display is recommended

Copperware / Thokcha

  • Wiping with a cotton cloth keeps the shine
  • Avoid contact with acidic or alkaline liquids
  • Verdigris is natural oxidation; polish gently with copper paste to restore
  • For long storage, apply a thin layer of mineral oil to prevent rust

Tibetan Incense

  • Store sealed in a cool, dry place
  • Avoid heat and direct sunlight to preserve the fragrance
  • Use within 3 months after opening

Beads / Turquoise / Accessories

  • Avoid water, sweat and cosmetics
  • Wipe clean with a soft cloth after wearing before storing
  • Turquoise is sensitive to heat and impact
  • Oxidized silver can be restored with a silver polishing cloth
